Primarily early-stage startups. Small, focused teams that care about craft and creating lasting products. If you genuinely care about what you're building, we'll work well together.
I focus on anything directly related to frontend development. Specifically:
- Implementing Figma designs pixel-perfect into code
- Building out design systems from Figma into code
- Building out web apps and websites from the ground up
I don't handle the following tasks:
- Backend development
- Devops, Full-Stack, etc
In some cases, I am open to working on design-related tasks.
I work only within the React ecosystem. Specifically:
- NextJS or Vite (open to other frameworks, however these are the ones I've used primarily in the past)
- Styling Frameworks: Tailwind, Styled Components
- Headless components: Base UI
Most codebases I work with use Typescript, however I am open to working in non-TS environments (although I do recommend clients to use Typescript).
I work with a maximum of 3 clients at a given time to ensure a standard of quality.
Async-first with clear & specific outcomes. I emphasize fast but intentional progress, minimal unnecessary back-and-forth, and mission-aligned product decisions.
I prioritize speed while being thoughtful about tradeoffs & direction. That being said, startups move fast & so do I.
There are no contracts and you may cancel at any time, so the timeframe is up to you. I've worked with clients for a pre-defined buildout over a couple of months, and others to build and maintain a product over a longer timeframe.
